New partner database simplifies user journey for clinical researchers
Elsevier Health, a global leader in medical information and data analytics, today announces that mutual subscribers of EBSCO Discovery Service Wird in neuem Tab/Fenster geöffnet™ (EDS) from EBSCO Information Services Wird in neuem Tab/Fenster geöffnet (EBSCO) and Elsevier’s ClinicalKey® can now discover and access journal articles and book chapters indexed from ClinicalKey within EBSCO Discovery Service.
ClinicalKey streamlines access to standardized medical knowledge to promote consistent, evidence-based practices across healthcare organizations. The platform provides healthcare professionals with the information they need to stay abreast of rapidly expanding clinical knowledge — from quick answers at the point of care to deep reference information.
Jukka Välimäki Wird in neuem Tab/Fenster geöffnet, SVP Global Commercial, Clinical Solutions, at Elsevier says: “ClinicalKey meets the information needs of clinicians during multiple activities within the clinical setting, surfacing quick answers and drug information at the point of care or full-text books and journal articles when more information is needed. Access to ClinicalKey for our clinicians and librarians is paramount; therefore, we support multiple channels of discoverability. This partnership with EBSCO Discovery Service will streamline access to our world-class clinical knowledge.”
Sara Earley Wird in neuem Tab/Fenster geöffnet, Senior VP of Product Management at EBSCO, says the addition of ClinicalKey to EBSCO Discovery Service will create a more streamlined research journey by enhancing the content’s reach and delivering it more effectively to those who need it: “EBSCO remains dedicated to providing access to quality content for the most efficient research experience for libraries and their end-users by making content they need easily accessible in one place. By indexing the metadata from ClinicalKey’s publications into EDS, our medical researchers can more easily search and find the clinical content they need.”
